Even though it was the 7th Grand Prix of Portugal held on August 24, 1958, it represents the first time in the event's history that it was run by Formula 1 racers. The image puts us in the thick of the action, as a painterly rendition of a Ferrrari and Vanwall screech around a turn, jockeying for position. The Vanwall emerged victorious that day, with Stirling Moss cruising into the Winner's Circle.
