Although Snowdonia is best known for its exceptional rock climbing, scrambling and hill walking, the superb network of mountain bike trails in the Coed y Brenin and Gwydyr Forests are equally popular with visitors. Opportunities for watersports can also be found in abundance; either canoeing or kayaking on the inland rivers, or sailing and sea kayaking off the coast of Anglesey and the Lleyn Peninsula.
