Jugoslovenski Airtransport Airline Poster
Jugoslovenski Aerotransport - can trace its history back to 1927 as Arpout flying regional services. After World War Two in 1947 services resumed by the newly organised airline: JAT with a fleet of DC-3s. Long-haul routes were flown with Douglas DC-6bs. In 1963 JAT began introducing the Caravelle jetliner and widened its route network with this versatile airliner to destinations further afield on non-stop flights.
