Islands
by Adolph Treidler
Bermuda
Bermuda. A single word that conjures forth romantic escapes to the minds of the over-scheduled. And time after time, Treidler handled the assignment of putting the island fantasy to paper with lithe panache and cinematic aplomb. Here, it's a couple taking a full-moonlight turn with a cruise ship in the background acting as a Broadway-style backdrop for their tony amour. Little is known about the artist, save for the fact that he was a resident of New York City and a member of the Society of Illustrators.
