Man with binoculars checking out woman.Originally executed in 1947, this maquette was probably redrawn by the artist ca. 1980. In his handwriting on the back of the board: ""Concu et executee par moi-Fix Masseau."" It's a charming design: spectator dandies are distracted from the race by a racier pair of legs, in this drawing for the poster for a ladies' hosiery firm of Marie Claire. Only the typography changed in the billboard printed in 1947.
