1936 Hamdorff Laren Jazz Ramblers
Man and woman dancing next to saxophone.Laren is a town between Amsterdam and Hilversum where each summer there was a festival of arts and entertainment. The Hamdorff was a major resort hotel there, with a nightclub and many recreational activities. For the 1936 season, the dance music was provided by ""The Ramblers,"" playing every night starting May 30; the red-hot sax player should make it a blast! Dutch posters are rarely this light-hearted, but this designer appears to know how to strike the right note.
