Small steam engine manned by two engineers rides the rails with a steam locomotive in background.For the 100th annniversary of railroading, the Baltimore and Ohio staged a two-week celebration. The unsigned posterist depicts a faithful representation of little more than a steam engine on wheels, juxtaposed with the latest word in streamlined engineering - but in reverse order, so that the long-defunct to engine appears real while the powerful modern machine is shown as a phantom. An impressive, unusually imaginative design.
