Pairs of men box and wrestle, with portraits of Barnum and Bailey to left.In 1891 Strobridge produced a series of Barnum & Bailey posters which featured the portraits of the owners in incredibly fine black-and-white lithography, surrounded by six small cameos of animal heads. Like this one, with its array of combatants arranged as if in some grand dance, all are highly prized by collectors today.
