Expositions
by Jacques Neziere
Exposition Coloniale/Paris 1931
Watercolor desing for a French Expo.Water colorist Neziere was mainly a painter of historic scenes, and something of a specialist on Oriental art which gained him several commissions for exhibitions of exotic art. He obviously has a painter's eye for colors, profusely and expertly used in this design. The printer gives the date 1928; since the advertised event is in 1931, this design may have been used before, possibly for previous years' expos.
