Banditka (The Lady Bandit)
Female thief aims a flashlight at a safe while man stands looking down at a lit match.Originally titled ""The Heart Bandit"" when it was released in the U.S. in 1924, this film tells a sentimental story of an elderly woman helping a pretty thief to reform, who then in turn helps the woman's son from turning to a life of crime by stealing his heart. The Stenberg Bros. chose well and made the most of the scene's contrasts - dark and light, man and woman, crime and love.
