Dogs

Greyhound with yellow bow sits contentedly on a plush cushion.Scheurich moved from his birthplace, New York, back to his father's land and became one of Berlin's best known posterists. Here he regally sets a comfy greyhound atop a plush cushion to promote a dog show which happens to be the Anniversary Exposition for ""Dogs of All Races."" And just in case you were wondering why the name ""Hektor"" plays such a prominent role in the design, it's because during this period, ""Hektor"" was the Germanic pooch equivalent of ""Fido"" in the good old U.S.A.
