A big palm tree and some boats on the French Riviera stretch called the Cote des Maures, or Moorish Coat.To advertise this resort on a stretch of the French Riveiera called the cote des Maures, or Moorish coast, Broders directs our gaze past palms and bright orange sails and across a deep-blue bay, toward yellow and white buildings fronting a whimsically pink beach. All gloriously summery--though the text assures us it's beach weather here year-round. The poster was reissued in a smaller format the following year, and again 8 years later for teh SNCF, the national railroad into whcich the PLM and others wreere consolidated. The poster's endurance attests to its quality
