The high realism and compressed perspective, which strongly suggest the use of telephoto lens photographs, lend terrific middle-of-the-action intensity and a very modern look. The same is true of several other fine racing posters Hierl created in the 1930s, including two for the German Grand Prix (also run at the Nurburgring).
