Transvestite in green against a background of red circles.The film advertised in this lobby card is one of the regional productions which were encouraged in the USSR in the 1920s. It's part of a Soviet Georgia series directed by Ivan Perestiani, one of the avantgardists of Russian cinema. Dlugach gives us a portrait of the protagonist, a former countess who becomes a cabaret performer against a background of red circles.
