La Depeche
Intriguing darkly-clad woman dangling a newspaper.De Feure's women were always a trifle enigmatic, and this emancipated lady dangling a newspaper has an expression that is both intriguing and ambiguous. This design for La Depeche was used by the paper first to announce the publication of Victor Hugo's novel ""Hans d'Islande"" in installments, later with a different text as a general poster for the daily. This extremely rare version of the poster is the state before letters and with remarque.
