This powerful Art-Deco image is all geometry - circles, straight lines and especially the giant trapezoidal mouth of the front grille that opens wide and sucks us into the design for an added measure of dynamics, the artist places everything on the diagonal including the type, which translates as economical to operate. Like many of the anonymous graphic artists whose posters we include, this one provides an example of some of the most interesting work we offer.
