Champignons de Paris
The special, luxuriant damp of Paris cellars, it seems, produces a special taste of mushroom. Voila: the champignon de Paris. They were grown and canned by the Bonnefon firm in Issy-les Moulineaux, a suburb on the southwest edge of the capital. The work of fungi-culture is depicted her in white, brown and black, with green lettering. Lochard was in illustrator and a posterists who published his own posters. Only six of them (not including this one) are in the collection of the Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris.
