Rajah Coffe and Tea Poster
Classic Art NouveauRajah has the essential Art Nouveau woman, dressed in bejeweled opulence, holding a cup of tea whose steam rises to spell out the products name. The hair is long again but fairly tame. The Rajah brand name was used for both coffee and tea. Livemont started out as an interior designer in his hometown of Schaerbeek, Belgium. He came to poster art after entering a poster contest on a whim and winning it. By 1898, The Poster magazine was calling him the uncontested master of Belgian posterists.
