1911 Nude Men Advertising for the Italian International Exhibition of Industry and Trade.This poster for the 1911 International Exhibition of Industry and Trade, held in Turin to honor the 50th anniversary of the Unified Kingdom of Italy, was printed in several languages; this is the German version. Bronzed figures on a hill overlooking Turin hold symbols of various trades and Italian flag. Like his fellow members of the Italian artists group In Arte Libertas, Karolis was strongly influenced by the principles of the English Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood.
