Montmartre en Ballade/La Chanson en Voyage
The Musical Tapestry of the revue Montmartre in BaladsThe musical tapestry of the revue Montmartre in Balads/The Traveling Song remains a mystery as there are no references to any of the people associated with the project or the show itself, with the exception of Gustave Michiels, the composer, who created the music for at least one other show, an 1890 one-act comic-opera titled Columbine. The charm of the Choubrac design is evident, however, as we are greeted with the curvaceous welcome of a stunning beauty daintily seated atop the ingeniously treble cleffed tail of a cat possessed.
