Tourists boarding a ship to travel the German riviera, with beautiful landscape behind them.With the immensity of its horizons covering nearly 210 square miles and a climate mild enough to permit the growth of tropical vegetation, Lake Constance, or the Bodensee as it is known in its native tongue, attracts a multitude of German holidaymakers, who regard it as their local Riviera. A wide choice of boat services provide cruises and excursions, and one such possibility is illustrated in this poster from the German, Austrian and Swiss Bodensee Navigation coalition. Sun-splashed and teeming with high spirited portent, the lure of the beautiful Bodensee is temptingly recreated in this Bodman design.
