4 women depicting the four seasons.The success of the 1896 Seasons prompted the printer Champenois to ask Mucha to produce another set of Season panels the following year, and he came through with more enticing lovelies. They were used by a number of clients, with or without calendars--but this is the edition completely without text, sold as art for the home. In most of these decorative sets, at least the names of the months remained in the bottom panels, but in this version, even those are omitted, making it technically a hitherto unknown variant.
