Cruise ship with letters ""Around the World"" on top.In this Art Deco design executed in appropriately patriotic hues, all is perfectly angular-except for the slightest hint of a wave at the bottom and smoke at the top. The Converging lines suggest the size of the ship, and at the same time create an illusion of movement. The design was executed by Hemming in 1932, but this particular specimen is the result of a 1934 Japanese printing.
