A comedian is pouring a glass of wine for a lady.Seeing as this commedia couple doesnt appear to be an outwardly aggressive pairing, youd have to wonder why a knife would be such a featured item in the fore ground of this Perran design. Certainly it could be intended to show that only the essence of the most freshly-cut lilacs create the bouquet and singular taste of the advertised aperitif. But then why would the haughty maid be declaring that the beverage is her Preferred Nontron?
